There are two active churches in the parish. Mendham All Saints and Mary Magdelene in Withersdale street. This section provides details on the history of the churches and their current use together with any related  organisations or ongoing initiatives.

    Founded in 1140, some walls were still standing in the 1930's, now it is simply a pile of rubble.

Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA)

On Saturday 6th October 2012 the community gathered to officially open the MUGA at the Mendham and Withersdale Village Hall. The ceremony was led by Scott Norman and Tracey Tompkins and the ribbon was cut by Ben Jackson from Suffollk Sport.

Community Orchard

Remember the Community Orchard that was planted in February 2011? Well its harvest time in September and October depending on the variety so go along to the playing field and see if the tree you purchased has any fruit ready for picking! The trees are all labeled with their sponsors and full details are here.

All Saints burial monuments

Drawings made by Kathleen Hadingham of the burial monuments in All Saints churchyard are now on the website together with some photographs. We are trying to get a complete record on the website to help genealogists in other areas and other countries.
